- Accommodation services: Cohesive Care can help the participants find NDIS-style accommodation for the long or short term. We offer spacious, secure, and safe housing solutions.
- Assistance in travel and transport: We also offer assistance in travel and transport. Our registered NDIS providers help individuals with disabilities safely reach their destinations. With our support, you can travel to work, school, or any event.
- Early childhood support: Our NDIS disability providers provide care and complete support to children with disabilities between the ages of 7 and 16. With our support, the children will be able to be part of the community, take part in activities, and have access to learning and growing more.
- Household tasks: At Cohesive Care, our expert team can assist you with daily household tasks, such as laundry, preparing meals, cleaning the home, and yard activities.

What is the NDIS?
NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme, an initiative by the government of Australia. Under this scheme, individuals with disabilities are provided with direct funding and access to various services, which promote independence and self-reliance and enhance the ease of living.
NDIS was launched in 2013 and has helped around 500,000 participants in Australia with funding and support services such as education, nursing and medical support, therapy, etc.
- Management of NDIS:
The National Disability Insurance Agency overlooks the NDIS. It’s a Commonwealth Government statutory authority. The NDIA has a chief executive officer and a board of directors.
The NDIA plays an essential role in uplifting the disability community. It’s responsible for delivering the NDIS and managing and reporting on its financial sustainability.
- Eligibility for NDIS:
People eligible for this scheme can avail themselves of the funding and support services. Under this scheme, the individual with a disability must be between 7 and 65. They must also be a citizen of Australia or a permanent resident. Individuals with impairments, medical conditions, or any health condition since birth are also eligible for NDIS service providers.
